Our puppy ate the zipper within a few days of setting up. Setting up was easy. It was sturdy. Puppy is a chewer and the crate was the latest victim.

I bought the 42" crate hoping that it would be a wonderful travel solution as our puppy (already crate trained) kept growing. The mesh is so lightweight that our dog tore a large hole in it with his paw the very first time he was in it. He was in it for less than 45 minutes and all it took was for him to see someone walking up to the crate. He pawed at the mesh and it tore. For the money I would have expected the mesh to withstand normal wear and tear.

The design and idea is good. Unfortunately the materials are sub par and our mini aussie was able to chew through the zipper door and escape in about 5 minutes on the first use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jbarnabee frustrating, don't buy it.
I am seeing common responses all over the reviews. The bottom bars don't lock into place anymore and the crate collapses on my dog. It is terrible engineering that this is happening after only a few uses. Notice how many other people say the same thing before you buy this. I have no doubt it is great if it continues to work and those bars lock in place, but that is obviously less common than not.
