Top Paw Training Clicker
Great training aide, but NOT a doggie remote!
Some of the reviews one here seem to be based on the assumption that this is a magic button that makes your dog well behaved. It's not. There's no such thing. What this IS, is a reward tool that when used in combination with treats and praise, and through a process of repetition, can let your dog know that he has done something correct or favorable, which will prompt him to repeat said behavior.
With that said (at the risk of sounding like a fanboy) I enrolled a 10 month old lab mix into the Petsmart puppy school and they taught ME the correct way to use the clicker. A clicker is very effective when incorporated correctly in a training regime. In only a few weeks my dog had learned come, sit, stay, down, leave it, drop it, paw, roll over, how to walk on a leash and how to behave around other dogs. I highly recommend both this clicker and the PetSmart school. Together they are a great way to get your dog to behave better.

Started using the clicker the same day. Being a rescue dog, he was a bit concerned with the 'funny noise' but the treats made it all better!

These so called clickers are imo pointless. People might say "dog's don't understand English" or whatever. All I have to say to that is when I say "Sit" my puppy sits, when I say "Paw" she gives me her paw. When I put food in her dish and say "Sit and Stay" she stays until I say "ok go get it". I think they can understand good enough without the use of this item.
