This combination of a break-resistant plastic water bottle and metal hold-guard is perfect for mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters and hedgehogs. The metal hold-guard holds the bottle in place securely and discourages small animals from chewing the plastic. Our assorted All Living Things Bell Bottle Value Set is detailed with an adjustable hanger strap to fit most wire cages. Only at PetSmart.

Place bottle into guard and position inside cage so that the drinking tube top is at pet's shoulder height. Note which horizontal wire cage bar the top of the guard is nearest to. Extend the hanger strap by rotating it above the guard and slide it over the cage bar. Bend the hanger strap down to suspended the guard at the proper height. The strap bends easily and can be adjusted as need.
When filled and inverted, press in the control ball and let the water trickle out of the tube until a vacuum develops inside the bottle. A temperature increase will expand the air inside the bottle and may cause occasional slow dripping—this is normal. An exposed ring of water surrounding the ball will attract your pet and reduce the need for training. If the "self-training" is not effective, loosen the cap until the tube starts to drip and attracts your pet. Tighten the cap once your pet is trained. Always test the bottle before leaving your pet alone. Always provide your pet with plenty of clean, fresh water.
