I have 2 male guinea pigs...I bought 2 of these cages (one of which I got for free because a hassle with a other cage). I connected the 2 cages (a pain but worth it) and it was the perfect size for a pair of guinea pigs. But the water bottle and hay rack are a pain...The hay rack is designed like poorly and the water bottle was a mess. I bought a larger water bottle and another hay rack and it was perfect. I recommend this cage a lot. PERFECT FOR GUINEA PIGS

We have 3 piggies and it provides plenty of space to play and hide. The bottom slides out for easy clean up. Just remove, dump, replace liner and slide back in. The play yard gives them a safe place to play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PeachyMuffins Really great!!!
I bought the largest size for my two guinea pigs and they absolutely love it! The hideaway underneath is perfect for them to hide under. The cage is large enough for them to run around in and the play pen is a perfect addition as an extra playpen. Even though I gave this a 5 star rating the water bottle and hay rack are not as efficient as I would've liked them to be. When I got the water bottle and began to use it for them all what it did was drip so I had to buy another. Also the hay rack the hay would fall out and make a gigantic mess of hay. Otherwise this is a very durable perfect cage for either rabbits or guinea pigs to be housed in.

I tried using it this cage for my guinea pigs and it was the worst thing ever! It was hard to clean and the cage didn't contain the mess. If your looking for a guinea pig cage I recommend a C&C cage because it's cheaper and it really is soooo much better for them. I use this cage for my holland lop bunny and it's great for him. I only gave it 3 stars because the hay rack is horribly designed and you have to buy a new one unless you want all the hay to fall out contanly. Also I had to replace a screw that wouldn't hold the left side up but now the cage is functional. Assembly is a pain. Other than that it's great for a liter box trained bunny.
