Rated 1 out of 5 by EdaHamster Cramped & too small!!
This hamster cage as well as ALL the other hamster cages sold are WAY too small!! It's like trying to live your life in a closet! No room to run, play, explore & I can keep going.
I ended up getting two 110 quart sized storage bins & made a DIY hamster home that connects together so my hammy is happy & content. Hams get a bad rap because they are not happy with their living environment because ppl don't research & don't know better than to give them lots of space to live!

Rated 4 out of 5 by LC11 Extremely sturdy, excellent for gerbils
I purchased this to house a single gerbil, and though mine didn't come with any assembly instructions, I was able to assemble it with little trouble and it is the sturdiest small animal habitat I've ever had. The bars are spaced perfectly for gerbils or non-dwarf hamsters, which is the only thing keeping me from purchasing the same cage for my fancy mice. The set does include a plastic shelf, which creates a hidey-hole for your pet, and a plastic wheel, but I left these out. My gerbil is an extreme chewer, so I felt like I'd be better off with her current perches and silent spinner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lennyshea76 Bought this cage about a month ago for my niece's robo dwarf hamster. It is plenty big, easy for and 8 year old to clean, but the space between the bars is too large and he can escape. Need less to say this is a problem!

My gerbils have plenty of room for the 2 of them and it's easy to care for them with the wide opening and it's sturdy enough to keep cats and dogs out. Quality cage.
