The cage is terrible quality. It came to me with the bars all bent and huge gaps in each of the corners that a hamster could easily get through. I tried to zip tie it together because I didnt really feel like going through the return process but as I was doing this, I realized that some of the bars weren't even connected to the cage completely. They could easily be pulled off. The plastic ramps that came with this were also broken. The wheel that comes with it is also cheap, which I was expecting, and without even letting my hamster run in it I can tell it would be loud enough to keep me up at night.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dian345 We bought this cage for a hamster. It seems a bit small. The pros is that it came with food, bedding, food dish, water bottle and hamster wheel. Cons: the cage is small, the hamster wheel does not turn, the water bottle leaks excessively. The hamster spends a lot of time chewing on the bars. I wish I would have done more research when looking for a hamster cage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kendogs Great, but too small for anything but mice
Syrian hamsters need 360 sq inches of space. Dwarf hamsters need 266 sq inches. This is totally inappropriate for hamsters, that's why my rating is low. I want to discourage anyone from torturing a poor little hamster with this tiny cube. This cage is suitable only for two female mice. Hamsters, gerbils, rats, and anything else would have a truly terrible life in this cage. My mice weren't even happy with this size, and I had to DIY some tubes into it and attach it to another unit to make them happy. Before, they chewed on wires from boredom.
However, this is a nice looking cage that's easy to clean. It did somewhat break on the sides after a year. That just means the wire part tries to fold inwards and is very easily fixed with two wire ties, if you find it necessary to fix at all. It's an average cage overall. The wheel that comes with it isn't appropriate for mice, and you'll need to buy a larger one.
