Rated 1 out of 5 by HamsterLost It was my first time buying a hamster so the cage the pet store told me to get was this one. Boy i wish I never did. The hamster broke out not once not twice but numerous times. I finally brought it another cage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BellBall22 It's alright, but not good for a hamster.
This really isn't the best cage for a hamster. I owned this particular model when I had my Syrian and it didn't quite work out. (In my early days before I did any research.)
Hamsters do better in "flat" living spaces, meaning they like length rather than height. Also, they're burrowers, so the grated bottom is pointless since you have to fill the bottom with substrate.
Speaking of the grate, it's really not the best for hammy feet. Especially the levels and ramps, I was always afraid of my little man going too fast and getting a foot stuck and broken.
I don't even think I'd recommend it if the levels were replaced with a solid material. There isn't enough flat space for the hamster, unfortunately.
