I have a Doberman mix and an American Bulldog mix that do their best to destroy every toy I buy for them, they are very strong chewers and Nylabone is the ONLY brand I can buy for them without worrying about losing my money.
I tried other brands and their "durable" toys for "aggressive chewers" and they literally wouldn't even last more than a day. I've now started collecting all the hard Nylabone toys, and they are fantastic. I have had this one about 6 months and they love it! After a few months, they tore the rubbery green part off of the center, but they still play with it.

This is the only toy that stands up to my dog's chewing habits. I've tried other brands (Kong, etc.) but nothing compares to this.

We have an 18 month old pitbull/lab mix who has made short work of nearly every "durable" toy we've gotten her in the last year. BUT we got this for her a little over a month ago and it is indestructible! It was a bit rough on the gums at first, but I think that was because it was the "toughest" toy she's chewed in a while. It's good to her now ;) and she absolutely loves it. If you have a large breed or a chewer who you just can't seem to find a toy for that can't be destroyed, this is definitely a safe bet!!!!

My collie was just under a year old when I bought the Nylabone toy. I wanted something that had both a hard and softer surface for her to chew on, something good for her teeth and to encourage her to chew on appropriate things. She immediately started to chew on it and has loved it ever since. My only concern is that although I purchased the size according to their online information yet she is unable to carry it very far without dropping it frequently as she carries it around the house. Since our floors are tile and hardwood rather than carpet it makes a whole lot of noise and I believe it chipped a tile in the kitchen when she first got it. I'm hoping as she gets older her jaw will be better able to handle it.
