My Siberian Husky chewed through this ball on the second day. Too bad, because he was having so much fun with it on day one. Is there no material out there that a dog can't chew through? If you can't trust a Kong, what can you trust? Very disappointing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BHKC Durable and Entertaining!
I have a 3yr old pit bull who can destroy almost anything within minutes-especially when it sqeaks. Even though this is rubber, he hasn't made a dent! And he LOVES it! Much quieter than similar plastic ones I've bought in the past and much more gentle on his mouth. We can play a little tug, or fetch or he can sit and entertain himself with the least obnoxious sqeak ever.

Dexter is a mixed breed, husky shepherd doggie that I adopted at PetsMmart as a puppy. He is now just over 1 1/2 years old and due to health issues is just really getting to be a big, 75 pound puppy. So I purchased the Jumbler, and Dex had it opened in less than 1 hour. First the squeeker was on the floor, then the tennis ball. He loved chewing up the toy and did NOT eat any portion. We were right here with him to be sure there were no problems with a new toy. Only problem, too easy for a dog to chew to pieces. A bit disappointing as Kong toys usually last almost forever.

I appreciate the feedback people give on the durability of toys for power chewer breeds like pit bulls. It helps me know what to buy and what not to buy. I ordered this online for my 2 yr old pit. She chewed the sealing circle off the side of the ball in less than an hour (about the size of a quart jar lid or the KONG emblem shown in the pic). I was disappointed that the handles on the ball are made of durable rubber jell like material and the ball itself is a durable rubber not a harder material like the wag giggle dog toy. I knew it wouldn't hold up to this power chewer! In short order, she had the tennis ball that comes inside the jumbler ball out. She did enjoy grabbing the handle, the squeaky noise, tossing the ball, shaking and trying to figure out how to get the tennis ball inside out. It's a great toy, but not recommended for a power chewer like a pit bull. This toy was too easily damaged. If KONG would make this out of the same material as their KONG treat dispensing toy it would be ideal.
