Christmas morning we gave my 10lb shih tzu a medium pack of these because he loves the medium tennis balls and loves his squeaky toys. We figured this would be a perfect treat, well it was, for the five minutes before he had shredded the ball and removed the squeaker and punctured it. While I don't expect a toy to last forever, five minutes by a 10lb shih tzu is an extremely short amount of time. Now the poor guy grabs a broken ball and just chomps and you can hear the broken squeaker. Its kinda sad. KONG has failed me on several dog toys. If your product can't stand up to 10lb shih tzu, then your product is junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TXARandPeyton My lab loves it
My dog has been known to skin a tennis ball or two. She loves these larger tennis balls with a squeaker. She does not kill them, she instead gums then to get her chew on and yet never beyond a squeak which she seems to love. She likes the size too and she is a small narrow lab, not like the big beast labs we have had. The squeaker makes all the difference for her, perhaps because we get such a kick out of her squeaking them. It is not the high pitch squeak you get with the plastic and rubber toys. It's a little lower tone that we don't mind listening to and she likes better herself. I don't know that I would call them durable, but she treats her tennis balls differently than her chew toys.

My poodles loved these balls. My 8 pounder especially loved biting the felt cover off of them. This is not a product for chewers.
