National Geographic™ Comfort Small Animal Bedding
I have 2 guinea pigs and this is by far the best bedding I have found! It does not expand like the other brands but that is why it comes in a larger bag. It is the most absorbent bedding I have come across. There is no smell at all! I would go through bedding like crazy with other brands but not with this brand. Plus, the price is like half of what the others cost. I will definitely keep on using this product!!!

Terrible Bedding for Hamsters
We recently visited our Local Pet Smart and noticed National Geographic had put out a new line of products for small pets. I own a fancy bear hamster and we usually get paper bedding. We thought we would give this a try. The first problem with it is that it doesn't expand at all, they're like little pellets of paper but they don't offer much comfort. It doesn't fill up a lot of space. My hamster can't use it as nesting material at all, she had to dig herself almost like a hole in the middle of this bedding to make herself comfortable. I would maybe suggest this to mix with regular bedding but as a stand alone product it's not worth it's weight in anything. For a small bag cost almost as much as a decent size bag of the good paper bedding at this store. I don't have experience with other small pets but I would not recommend this to any one who has a hamster who enjoys cozy bedding that likes to burrow and make use of the bedding they have.
