Multipet Happy Hut Bird Hideaway
Expensive but my conure's favorite item
She CANNOT sleep well unless she has her Happy Hut. If she doesn't get enough sleep, she is cranky and unpleasant to be around.
I would definitely recommend this product for cuddly conures. But there's a new, similar one, on the market that is much cheaper.
For being expensive, I only give this 4 stars, even though my bird loves it more than any perch, toy, etc.

happy hut bird hide away
Why does this product have 2 pieces of "string", from which to hang it from, that birds can chew through and destroy? The black "string" is of so poor quality that it broke while trying to hang it in the cage for the first time. This has happened several times. I buy it because my birds love it. That black "string" has got to go!

Birds passed it on to Rats!
Years ago I bought the small(I think) size one of these in the winter months for my single Senegal parrot so he had a warm place to be. The hideaway is simply a plush tube hung onto the top cage bars with an inner flexible plastic floor for pet stability(It's sewed inside the hideaway, your pet is not on bare plastic). I've sent it through the washer and dryer on high many times and it's never warped or melted the plastic floor. He snuggled in it and didn't chew it hardly at all, when he passed on I gave it to my pet rats and they are happy with it now too. Smaller birds might be intimidated by it though, I tried it with parakeets/lovebirds/cockatiels and they were terrified of it. 5 stars for rats, but it can be hit or miss for birds.
