I have a young guinea pig (Tribble) that I have litter box trained. I started using the clay litter at first, but it was quite expensive. I saw this at the store and thought I would give it a try. Tribble loves it. She new just how to use it.
Pro: Absorbs urine and the odor. Safe if animal ingests product, it's wheat straw.
Con: Dusty. Doesn't clump, falls apart when wet.

I have pros and cons about this litter, I'm not sure if I would buy it again or not.
The rabbit likes it.
It doesn't smell. I forgot to change her litter box for a full week because it didn't smell at all. Even as I dumped it out, it wasn't the overwhelming urine smell there usually is with the paper pellet litter. It still just smelled (mostly) like wheat.
It does soak up the urine and it doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter box.
The pellets fall apart when they gets wet. It doesn't clump, it just turns into powdery mush. I don't know how one would scoop it out. After just a couple days, there's no more pellets in the box, just the wheat powder mush.
The wet litter turns to dust when it dries out, and the rabbit kicks it everywhere, making a big mess. Sweeping has become more difficult.

by Canyonbugbarb Great for small squirrels and mice
I used this litter while I was raising a gray tree squirrel. It worked great. I never had to change it for the several weeks he used the cage. Now, I have two mice and decided to use the same litter. I expect that I won't have to change the litter for several weeks. I will however check under their igloo where they sleep and make sure it is clean. When I first put the litter in, they ate it. I am very glad that it is made of non-toxic, edible materials. I don't know how it would do for a large animal, but for my small rodents, it is great.
