Rated 3 out of 5 by Jenyfyr That's the way the urine crumbles
Our preferred Purina cat litter was continued about a year ago (it was called Smart Kitty or something like that) and this is the third or fourth litter we've tried. The cats don't seem to mind it, so that's good. Solid waste scoops fine but if you scoop up a ball of urine and it crumbles, break out the gas mask because the ammonia smell will knock you over. Just disgusting. We'll finish up what's left of the container and then continue on our search for something that we like as much as the cats do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cappy Much better than the 24/7 litter
I have used both Instant Action and 24/7 varieties, and found the Instant Action does and excellent job, especially with urine odor control. I tried the 24/7 this last purchase as the store was out of Instant Action, and am not at all happy with the 24/7 - strong urine smell, whereas the Instant Action had no smell at all. Clumping performance has been good with both types.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kamileon THANK YOU!
My boyfriend has a super sensitive nose. Even after my tigger uses the clean box the very first time, the smells would bother him. We were pet sitting recently and the fellow told us not to bother changing the litter, they'd be fine for a week. We didn't believe him, but his two cat's boxes are in the same room and after a week there was zero smell! We found out they use tidy cats. We'd been using arm and hammer for ages, but we switched. After a week, Tigger's box smells like absolutely nothing! It's amazing! THANK YOU TIDY CATS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by rockykitty reliable litter
I have been using only this litter for years. It clumps very well and has only a mild scent with seemingly little or no dust. If you try to scoop it too soon it will sometimes crumble a little bit. All you have to do is let it sit in place longer. I use two litter boxes for this purpose. My newest kitty is a 10 year old rescue who has early kidney disease and really goes through the water...therefore litter. Wish it was less expensive but still well worth it.
