NUTRO® MAX® Senior Cat Food
Our picky ol' gal likes it
We had a horrible time transitioning our cat from dry to wet food after back-to-back illnesses, first UTI then full-mouth extraction.
After trying and failing with several brands/flavors of wet food, Muffin eats this food. The only complaint she has is that it has whole English peas in it, which she leaves to roll around in the bowl once she's eaten everything else. She must have gotten that from me; I hate green peas too!

Best weigth control food.
Calories do count when trying to lose weight, even for cats. Has one of the lowest amount of calories of the canned cat food that I could find. I search many brands and their calorie content before settling on this. My cat loves it .

Great for hiding a pill
My 17 yr old cat Minnie will not take a pill, but needs to be on thyroid and glucosamine. Every morning I crush the pill, add the glucosamine, and mix them into about a heaping tablespoon of this food, and she devours it. Hounds me until she gets it. I also liked the fact that the first several ingredients are actually real food.

Cat wouldn't eat it.
I bought this to try with my 11 year old cat Boots. It has a decent amount of protein in it and the first 5 ingredients aren't bad...it looked better than Science Diets label to me. Boots wouldn't touch it though. It has peppers and peas in it which I thought was odd for a cat food...why would a cat eat those being a carnivore. Not to mention they are whole pieces in in it, not mushed and mixed in. I wouldn't put it down for trying even though it's not the top choice but is good for a budget value. So if your cat likes it more power to you, mine just didn't want anything to do with it. My kitten Anubis wanted to try it but he has his own food so he wasn't allowed. Don't give up on it.
