Cat MD Maximum Defense Flea & Tick Cat Topical
So far, so good
I put this on my cat and the following morning found about 40 DEAD fleas are her bedding. Didn't expect for that quick of result. Especially with the other reviews on here. I would like to note, my cat is strictly indoor cat and short hair. Also, when flea infestation happens, I cleaned my place(vacumed, washed linens etc) that should be done. Fleas don't just live on your pet. I might be jumping the gun but after a few days, there is a huge reduction in the sign of fleas on my cat. Which is what counts.

I was excited at first to buy this since it had the same ingredient as Frontline. I used it on my cats and Dog MD for my dog. After two weeks they still have fleas!

A waste of time and money.
This stuff does not work. Do not waste your money or prolong your cat's suffering. I treated my cats with Cat MD Maximum Defense seven days ago. They still have fleas! It may have helped my short hair cats a little but my long hair cat is covered with fleas. Now I am dealing with a flea infestation in my house. Had I known this product was so bad I never would have bought it. Lesson very much learned the hard way.
Do yourself and your cats a favor. Do not buy cheap "flea prevention" EVER! You will only end up paying more later.

Why the same price as dog MD?
This product is exactly the same ingredients as the dog version but the large dog MD has five times as much in volume for the same price. In theory if you can measure the dose out you are better off getting the dog version and getting five Doses from one vial. If a basic Fipronil only Flea treatment works for your pet this product is ok! However there are cheaper options for exactly the same ingredients.
