I got this tank for my betta fish , Gillbert, it's absolutely amazing for him. I've had him for about a month and have had no problems. The filter current is too strong without the hood but amazing with the hood. I have noticed that I put just the right amount of water in the tank so he has enough room to jump up. I got a lititle scared the first time I heard him jumping but then I saw him and I can tell he's very happy. We have had to do 1 big water can get and we're about to do another one as the water needs some replenishing. If the water in your tank become's foggy or cloudy I recommend drinking water not distilled or tap (even if you use a Water Conditioner) to do a water change. The best thing to do when you do a water change is to leave your fish in the water so he or she can get used to that. I plan to buy new filter cartridge tomorrow as the one in the tank is disgusting and starting to make the water smell bad. All in all this is a great fish tank for beginners and I 10000000% recommend it.

Tank is nice and my bettas love it but the filter stopped working. I've been having it since May and now it's August and the filter just stopped working. I've tried everything but i can't get it to work again so 2 stars

Rated 4 out of 5 by Swimmy177 Great for Bettas! but the filter is terrible
This is a good tank for a couple small fish or a Betta. I used to have a Betta in this tank and he lived for three years! The only problem is that the filter that comes with it is horrible. I found myself taking apart the filter every month to fix a problem with it. Overall the tank is good but the filter is not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Krissydoge Great starter tank
I bought this tank about a month ago for my very first betta fish, Keiko. So far, the tank has been great! It's the perfect size for him and he loves the space. So far, the only problems I've had is that the hood doesnt fit all the way with the wires from the filter and heater sticking out, and about 2 weeks ago, the filter went haywire and started blowing airtight bubbles and stressed out my fish. Something must have gotten stuck in it because I took it apart and put it back together and its been working fine ever since. Other than that, its a great starter tank, the lights have worked great for me, and eventually I am going to move Keiko into a 5 gallon and put another betta in this tank.
