Do not like this tank at all
We had another tank that was much less expensive and worked great, but during a storm and power outage the filter blew so we went and the store not longer had the others and purchasing a replacement wasn't available so we bought this one. It had great promise but the sensor hardly ever "senses" us trying to turn it on, and though the filter is super strong the aquarium does not seem to clean the way the others did and this one get awfully dirty. We are heading back to the store and hoping they have another option. We can hardly wait to get rid of this one.

This is the quietest tank I've ever heard
I got this tank today, so I can't speak for durability, but I had to write a review because of this one thing... I've bought small tanks before for fry, but when I got this one for my new betta I was really surprised at how quiet it was. Like, my laptop makes more noise than this thing. As a person who deals with sound for a living, it was imperative for me to to have something that was virtually silent, and this tank is fantastic for that.
I wish the LEDs were an incandescent bulb instead, so that it stays warmer inside, but that's my only qualm with the tank. I am not disappointed. Worth the extra $10 over a similar tank that was a bit cheaper. And the touch light is nifty!

Great little product. This was very easy to put together. It looks great on my desk. I like that it has its filter in the unit.

LOVE this little tank
I purchased the 1 gallon version of this tank to temporarily house one of my betta fish while in the process of moving. I absolutely love it.
First, only one cord. I love that the filter and the LED lights run on the same power cord. If you prefer to have your light on a timer, you may want to look at the Aqeon (which also comes in a 1, 2.5, and 5 gallon version). When considering betta fish require a heater, it's nice to not have 800 [okay, 3] wires coming out of the back of a small tank.
Second, the filter is SO quiet. Some people seem to complain about the strength of the filter for betta fish, but it doesn't seem to bother mine. If you have some problems with too much flow, look into baffling your filter with a water bottle (check youtube). I do have to say that the sponge end is a little too long, which is annoying when setting up the tank, but honestly, it's not the end of the world.
I cannot wait to upgrade to the larger 2.5 gallon version of this tank. I think my fish will be very happy.
