My 2 year old female cat has a UTI. She is urinating outside of the litter box, straining, and I found blood in her urine. She still tries to go in the box, but little comes out.
After reading reviews of this product and finding it on a holistic vet's website, I thought the $14 cost was worth a try. My vet is good and inexpensive, but if I can avoid a visit and antibiotics, then I will.
I tried to put this on her paw, which did not work. She walked and dispersed it all over my kitchen floor. So I mixed it with her wet food. After a few hours she finally ate the food. Day two I did the same thing and she again, waited a while to eat but finally did eat it all. She was urinating more frequent and fuller on day two in the litter box. Day three is today, and I cleaned 2 large clumps out of her litter box so far this morning. She scarfed the wet food mixed with product at breakfast. I will continue to monitor her and check for blood. Of course, I'll go to the vet if needed. But so far there is great improvement. I haven't seen her urinating on the carpet either! Yea!
I am curious to know how long to keep her on this product. It doesn't seem to hurt her, so I'll use the entire bottle to be sure.

by CatWhiskerer 16 year old kitten loves it
My 16 year old female, is normally feisty when she is awake, and normally very well house-broken' She started darting out of her litter box, and peed outside her box, a very rare event. These symptoms are commonly related to urinary tract infections. UTIs are common in older cats. She is so otherwise healthy.
I am not a fan of involving Vets in every little sniffle.
Yes there could be more life threatening underlying causes. But why not try something simple and if the symptoms persist it is Vet time? Sure she is a good old friend, but how much longer will she be around?
First day, I put a dab on her paw and she licked it off, and her symptoms vanished within that same day. I have been mixing it in with her mouse-size daily soft food morning treat for the length of a tube and she has not reverted. I must conclude that she is fine.
She loves the taste. She was never finicky, as long as she gets chicken or tuna or turkey (LOL), but she is licking her plate clean so she can get every last smear.
It's time for another tube (lasted a month or so).
We are both glad I found I hunted for this and brought it home.

My cat is about 8 years old & all of a sudden she kept going to the litter often but I did not realize she wasn't urinating because I thought she was only urinitaing a lot because she was in heat. But when I realized she wasn't actually urinating I got concerned & of course Googled it to see what it might be because it was too late to call or go to a vet. She had almost all the symptoms of a UTI & I saw the reviews on this product & my father went to get it right away! It did take a long while for it to actually help but of course nothing works instantly. But eventually she urinated normally & I will absolutely recommend this product 100%

I got this for my mother's elderly cat who was having an extremely hard time urinating, going every few minutes just dribbling. Not only did this work immediately she loved it. She couldn't wait for the little squirt on her food, immediately licking it up first.
Then I made a mistake when I went back to get some more and grabbed the other brand. It was so bad she treated me like I had committed a crime. None of the cats would touch it actually wrinkling their noses at it and eating the food around it. I learned my lesson. I buy all they have on the shelf each time I go!
