Top Paw Orthopedic Pet Bed
I purchased the extra large bed about 3 months ago, and almost immediately the fleece top cover began to come apart. My dog is not a chewer but does like to move the bed around. Unfortunately the top is so fragile that it took almost no time to put holes in it. Now there is a gaping hole in it, making the bed unusable. I would not recommend this product to others. The manufacturer should instruct owners to turn the bed over immediately, THe bottom appears far more durable than the top.

Might be good for lighter dogs as-is.
We got these beds awhile ago for our two dogs. The dogs loved them, but they quickly sort of deflated around the center. However, with the addition of more foam (which we purchased separately), these beds are good as new!
If you purchase some extra foam and stick it in, these beds should last you a long, long time. We've had ours for nearly two years now (I believe), a Christmas gift to our two pooches, and they have held up wonderfully. It's the foam that's flimsy, not the actual bed cover, and foam is easy enough to replace. The soft fleece that the two dogs love, however, is not :)

The quality has changed. A few years ago this was a great bed but I am now on my third - the first lasted about 2 years, the second about 8 months before the seams gave way, the third was made with a different material so I thought I would try again. isn't even a month old and already the foam is separating and is out of shape from my 75 pound lab. Bad investment, three strikes so won't be buying another.

Love this bed!
We bought this bed for our husky and our husky lab. They are no longer with us but we now have a shepherd that started out at 96 pounds and is now 127 pounds. As all beds do finally wear out it is time for a new purchase. We will buy this same bed as all three of our dogs loved it. We found it last longer if you wash the cover and air dry it. To those of you who say it loses it's shape, of course it does. It conforms to how the dog sleeps on it. Just like humans all mattresses have to be replaced eventually.
