I got this for my betta and it was great for the first 9 days. Then scum started to grow on the top of the water and up the walls. I know that this is common in fish tanks but not in two weeks! If you have time to clean the tank every week or so than it's good for you but I was not prepared to clean it every week. Also, my poor fish had no room to swim. I had to return the plants I purchased because it was too tight with them. I know people think bettas' don't need a lot of room, but it is healthier if they do. It is also over priced. I am planning on getting another tank.

This tank is nice and is a cool decoration for any home. Yes you do have to clean the tank often but with the ease of it cleaning isn't much of a hastle. I have a small betta which makes this tank pretty good because he actually has room to swim around, but if you had a big betta this isn't the ideal tank. Also if you get the background wet then it looks really bad.

These betta tanks are pretty cool. I love the fact that you can mount the frame on a wall- it makes for really cool decor! The only down sides are A.) You have to change the water a lot- usually every 3 days or so
and B.) If it gets cold where you live, this may not be the best tank as it doesn't have any lights or heaters.
Other than that its a really nice little tank- would be great for kids or first time betta owners. A seasoned fish owner may not find anything amazing with it, but if you're looking for interesting and different "living decoration," this would be a good idea.

Easy open lid and this tank is a good starter for baby betta's. Though I plan to get something bigger when my betta gets older. The downfall is that you have to clean the tank every 3 days and have some sort of light or heat to keep your betta warm.
