Rated 4 out of 5 by BearR Good tank, good value. Hardly any issues
This is a good looking tank and the 2.5 gallon is the minimum size I'd consider for a betta and 1 or 2 small tankmates. I've got mine set up with a male betta and a mystery snail with a betta cave, 2 small plants, and a moss ball. It looks great and fits nearly anywhere.
The filter is quiet and seems to be doing its job, my betta can swim by it no problem so mine doesn't seem too strong as others have mentioned. So far the LED lights stay on and bright and are easy to switch on/off with a simple touch.
The filter is juuuust a tad large and takes up more space than I'd like for decorating/swim space but it mostly not a problem. Hood is good and has a cable access part for your added heater's power cord which is nice.
So far so good, great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PetLover5623 Light stops working with any water contact
I use to have a Beta and I missed having one so I went and got another Beta and this tank for him. If you want a tank that has decent size for your swimming friend but does not take up much space, this is the tank for you. The hood comes off easy for cleaning the tank, filter is easy to get to when you would have to change it but the light is a very large problem. It is connected to the filter and, with me and other reviews I have seen, when ANY amount of water hits it, it stops working. I only had this for one day and the light stopped working. We tried other outlets and everything and it stopped working no matter what we tried. If you don't mind the light not working I would recommend this tank. There is space between the roof and the tank where you could put some other lights if they did go out so there is that plus. Otherwise I would look at another tank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BettaFishN00b Great!
This was our first tank for a betta. It's great, however, it's pretty small.
I originally purchased this tank as a "starter" to make sure I was able to fully commit to life as a fish owner- AKA keep my fish alive. Here I am a month later, and he's not only surviving, but thriving. I'm now itching to have more fish, and more responsibility.
Initially, the tank was a bit confusing- I couldn't figure out how to turn it on/off. It's pretty sensitive to touch, so once I figured it out, you can simply slide your finger across the "power" button, instead of pushing it.
This tank is easy to change, durable, and great for a first time fish owner.
I would absolutely recommend this for a beginner, or someone only looking to have one fish. If you may or may not want to go bigger at a later date, I would not recommend this tank, as cycling your tank will begin all over again once you purchase a new tank (as I just did!)

Rated 2 out of 5 by xoTAS Could be better
At first it was great, the tank was practically silent and the light was beautiful, however, 3 weeks after purchasing this tank the light decided to turn itself off after I had turned it on, in different intervals each time. I took this tank to the store to get it switched for a replacement of the same tank and now only a few days later the filter part is loud all of a sudden and the light on this one already refuses to stay on, again turning off in different intervals. To say the least this is very disappointing and will be returning this item yet again, but for a different tank entirely.
