The Aqueon® Betta Bowl Starter Kit is OK. Most normal sized fish should have 1 gallon of water. I have one African Dwarf Frog. you can get away with half a gallon but 1 is still ideal. This tank is OK for one fish but two... NO. If their were two fish in this tank each fish would only get a quarter of a gallon and that's not good. Overall this is a pretty decent tank if you have one small fish.

Thanks, This is perfect for my 2 future granddaughters (Emma and Elana) hopefully! I love them all.1 compartment for a better fish. And a compartment for the 2 goldfish. Later on I think that the girls can graduate to a more detailed and more difficult Betta Falls.

by MrBobOnanza Pretty Decent Product for the Cost
Decent plastic half gallon tank with some small white rock for the bottom, One small plastic leafy plant, One water conditioning packet, suitable for your first water fillup, and packet of food pellets. Has top that snaps in place securely, (I saw two color options, black or blue, with matching color divider) and easy enough to remove, a hatch you can open and drop your food in, and a divider with a pattern of tiny holes, that my two bettas seem to be able to see through from time to time, as evidenced by their flaring displays. I bought this in the store, and this is priced lower here online. Maybe I'll buy another and let each of my fish have their very own home! (to all the peta folks who comment here, and on amazon trying to demonize folks for buying half and one gallon tanks, mind yer own beeswax please. My bettas are: happy in their half gallon home & well fed They get to watch cartoons with me, and even smile at me from time to time, so I'm pretty sure they're happy with their situation. Folks, If you've got the space, sure, buy a bigger tank for your fish, Pet Smart has 10 gallon tanks costing about ten bucks, but don't let other's make you feel guilty for using a good product such as this one by Aqueon, a pretty decent combo for your Betta.
