by Vienn Awesome!
I've had this set up for about a month now, it's a beautiful combo, I get lots of compliments on it. The stand is very sturdy. I did replace the hood/lights that it came with, with a Finnex 24/7 that fits it perfect and the lighting makes it even more beautiful. Was a breeze to set up, and it fits in a smaller space. Love it!

by NewarkDE Excellent tank! Highly recommended.
I had a small 10 gallon tank for many years and always wanted a larger tank so I could finally be an angelfish owner. Now I have this amazing 65 gallon tank with 3 friendly angelfish and I couldn't be happier. This tank is so larger that it almost terrified me when we brought it home, but the shock soon went away. The tank and stand on their own are fairly heavy and seemed very sturdy.
Like others have said the light is ever so slightly too long so it has to be raised a little on one side, but this can't even be noticed in my opinion. But I am in love with the all glass hinged lid; it really cuts evaporation down to practically zero. The plastic backing is difficult to cut, but once you get it done, it all works really well.
Overall, I love this tank and hope that it will last many many years. And I also hope I never have to move the thing because it truly is huge; I have to use a step stool whenever I clean it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Js91 Wasn't the one I wanted
I originally wanted the 75 gallon tank but my fiancée said it was way too big. I decided to settle for something "smaller," this 65 gallon one. Although, this was not my original choice, I did end up purchasing online during their black Friday sale. Saved 50%. I had my reservations about this tank but after set up and adding my fish, I have no regrets. The florescent light hood looks a bit out of place and doesn't exactly fit but it's hardly noticeable. I was skeptical about the stand but after filling with almost 70 pounds of gravel and 60+ gallons of water, it seems pretty sturdy. I wouldn't recommend using the shelf or doors to support yourself when trying to get up. Lastly, I only wish that there was an opening where the shelf is for wires. That's where I wanted to put my air pump. All things considering, I love this aquarium. definitely 5 stars in my book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jerry8140 Great tank and stand for the money
The Tank and stand are both very well built.
The depth of the tank is good as I will need 4 - 6 inches of substrate in the bottom with a shallow tank it leaves you with either not enough substrate or no room for fish.
True the stand is pressed wood (high Density) and poorly designed for some of the aftermarket canister filters, sumps etc.
However, if you look at it before buying you can see this.
I knew before purchasing that the lighting would not adequate for a salt water aquarium with corals.
I do not think that any starter kit or ensemble is going to have lighting substantial enough for a planted tank or reef tank. Face it is a starter, if you want something with adequate lighting It would cost you much more. Buying a tank that cost less than most good lights will not have them. It is only logical.
The glass tops are also very nice, too bad I can not use them with my water return manifold.
