I have a senior dog with hip problems, so thought this would be a great option to aid her onto the couch. Maybe it would be, but I wasn't able to put it together. Even though I was able to figure out the confusing, mislabeled, and vague instructions, I was unable to complete the first step. A piece with two pegs was supposed to fit into another piece with predrilled holes. The distance between the pegs and the holes was off by a good 1/4". I could have gotten the drill and made it work, but by that point the flimsy side pieces were breaking apart. Not worth the effort, and probably would not have been able to support my 50 pound dog.

Not hard to put together but the parts do not connect well or last for very long and the back and bottom are warped to the point that they are useless. The steps lift up when my dogs (7 & 8 lbs) try to use them and my dogs slip when trying to use the steps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DandoShaft Easy assembly?? Forget it
I'm usually good at put-together furniture but not this time. Impossible to keep the pieces in on the one side of the steps while attaching the other side. Maybe glue would have helped but I don't have any and wasn't about to buy this. I don't even know if two people working together could put this together. Took it back and very disappointed. Interesting that NOBODY has rated this higher than one star. PetSmart, get smart and get rid of this product and get something that one can actually put together and works!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by DoomTrisha I created an account just to post on this messed up product. Nothing was labeled just black and white pictures of random pieces.... You have to enjoy a challenge or DO not buy this! Friday night and 4 hours later the steps are complete. I did not want to give up so I ended up using wood glue to secure the pieces with dowels on the ends. I also had to charge up the drill *cough* and put in four extra screws just because the wood was not flush and friken bowed. I pounded, sweat blood and tears and when it was done I was so proud of myself until my daughter came in and said...Mom this is wobbly. *sigh* I guess that is what the random pack of sticky black stuff is in a tiny package (which is not in instructions) that I forgot to put on the bottom. This is one product I would not recommend to my worst enemy. I do have to say I made it work and my dog flew up the stairs to my bed. Does it work if you tweak it? Yes. If you have no idea about drills or tools then run away fast!!!!
