WormX Plus De-Wormer Chewables are used for the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms. Palatable flavored tablets can be fed alone or mixed with food.
Available in two sizes:
- Small Dogs/Puppies (6-25 lbs) over 12 weeks of age
- Medium/Large Dogs (over 25 lbs)
Active Ingredients:
- Small Dogs/Puppies: Pyrantel Pamoate (30 mg) and Praziquantel (30 mg)
- Medium/Large Dogs: Pyrantel Pamoate (114 mg) and Praziquantel (114 mg)
Directions for Use: Weigh your dog to make sure you are giving the right dose. If your dog does not voluntarily eat the chewable, you can hide it in a small amount of food or place it in the back of the dog's mouth. Make sure that the dog eats the complete dose. Watch the dog for a few minutes after dosing to make sure the chewable is not rejected.
Small Dogs/Puppies:
Dog Weight : # of Chewables
- 6 to 12 lbs: 1 chewable
- 12 to 25 lbs: 2 chewables
- Over 25 lbs: Use the size for Medium/Large Dogs
Medium/Large Dogs:
Dog Weight : # of Chewables
- 6 to 25 lbs: Use the size for Small Dogs/Puppies
- 25 to 50 lbs: 1 chewable
- 50 to 100 lbs: 2 chewables
- 100 to 150 lbs: 3 chewables
- 150 to 200 lbs: 4 chewables
Cautions: Consult your vet for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment and control of parasitism. Do not de-worm a dog or puppy that is sick. Consult a vet for the diagnosis of illness. Safe for use in puppies 12 weeks or older and adult dogs, Safety in breeding and pregnant dogs has not been tested. If vomiting, loose stools (with or without blood) and decreased activity follow treatment, contact your vet.
