Heavy-duty, long life, sealed 12 volt rechargeable battery for use with the Power Pet Electronic Pet Door (sold separately). Use as a back-up to the AC adapter in case of household power failure or use with the Battery Charger Kit (sold separately) and eliminate the need for any power connection to your Power Pet door.
The battery will last up to 1,000 opening cycles. For a household with one pet, this is typically 3 to 4 weeks. This will vary a little depending upon how much your pets use their Power Pet door.
