Ferrets use the litter pan every 2-3 hours and require a litter that has incredible absorbency and odor control. This litter has both. In addition, natural paper fibers and special odor control ingredients work together to neutralize unwelcome ammonia odors on contact.
This unique litter is made from specially processed recycled paper fibers. It can absorb up to 400% more than traditional clay or wood based litters. Pellets are so absorbent that they do not break apart when wet or cake to the bottom of the litter pan. This leaves a much healthier environment for your ferrets and clean-up is easy.
Ferrets are susceptible to upper respiratory problems. Marshall Premium Ferret Litter is dust free so it won't cause sneezing or upper respiratory distress like other litters can. Marshall Premium Ferret Litter is also the recommended litter for ferrets that have received postoperative care as it will not stick, irritate or track.
Marshall Premium Ferret Litter is made with 100% recycled paper is safe to flush in small amounts (306 oz). It is also biodegradable and can be used as landscape mulch, composted or incinerated.
Directions: Because Marshall Premium Ferret Litter is so absorbent, only a small amount is needed. Pour approximately 1 inch covering the bottom of your pet's litter pan. Skim daily to remove solid waste. Change the litter pan weekly or as necessary. Store in a cool, dry place.
