Highly activated carbon removes dyes, medications, and odors. Best placed in bottom or middle modules. Provides a fine strainer to remove tiny particles and impurities before they can clog delicate pores and surfaces of bacterial substrates. Contains no phosphates and will not change pH of aquarium water.
Three 3 oz. (100 g) packages per box. Each package is individually packed in a nylon filter bag and measures 5 1/2"" L x 4 1/2"" W.
