This extra-fine, calcium carbonate substrate is vitamin fortified to offer even more nutrition to your pet reptile.
Vita-Sand is fortified with vitamins and beta carotene to offer your reptile pet added nutrition. Contains no artificial colors or color sealers--a perfect substrate for desert-dwelling reptiles including bearded dragons, monitors, geckos and desert tortoises. Milled extra-fine to reduce the chance of impaction from overconsumption.
Note: Ingestion of this substrate in small quantities is harmless to most reptiles. However, substrate should not be used as a source for providing captive reptiles with the vitamin and calcium supplements they may need. Captive reptiles consuming excessive quantities of their substrate may be a sign of health or environmental problems. Please consult a reptile veterinarian for further information.
