Reduces shedding up to 90%! Removes undercoat and loose hair without sacrificing healthy top coat. The stainless steel edge deShedding Tool does not cut hair, it just gently pulls out the fluffy undercoat, leaving the topcoat shiny and undamaged. Leaves coat shiny and shed-free.
The patented design helps stop shedding where it begins in the undercoat to dramatically reduce the mess and clean up of unwanted pet hair. Helps create a shed-less environment by reducing the amount of dander and hair, making it the ideal tool for allergy sufferers. Designed for use on both long and short-haired pets.
The tool will work on all shedding dogs and even on some traditionally "hair-cut-only" dogs, like Terriers and Spaniels to coarsen the coat and blend clipper tracks. A few breeds that are typically not good candidates for the FURminator Shed-Less Treatment are Poodles, Shih Tzus, Maltese, Bichons, Portuguese Water Dogs, and Irish Water Spaniels.
For best results, use in conjunction with FURminator deShedding Shampoo and FURminator deShedding Solution (both sold separately).
Sizing Recommendations:
- Small deShedding Tool (1.75" wide deShedding edge) is recommended for small to medium dogs and cats.
- Medium deShedding Tool (2.65" wide deShedding edge) is recommended for medium dogs and cats.
- Large deShedding Tool (4" wide deShedding edge) is recommended for large dogs.

Some heavy or oddly shaped products must be shipped alone via a freight trucking company. Usually, Oversized products arrive in 7-14 full business days after leaving the warehouse. Most Oversized products leave the warehouse within seven full business days. (An estimate of when a product leaves the warehouse is indicated on the Product Detail page.)

Because this is a larger and heavier product, it can only be sent via ground freight; therefore, we cannot offer expedited shipping. The freight trucking company is not responsible for unloading the product from the truck or carrying the product into the building. Your product is likely to be heavy and large; therefore, we recommend that you have someone with you to help you unload the product and bring it inside.
Products indicating Inside Delivery service will include delivery over the first threshold of your home. It does not include assembly or debris removal. - Premium Freight, (7-14 business days)
Oversized products are heavy or oddly shaped products that must be shipped alone via a freight trucking company. Many oversized products on this site may be shipped via a premium delivery service called White Glove/Silver Service for an additional charge.
