New Age Pet's ecoConcepts™ Rustic Lodge is a popular flat roof style house with side room. Available in medium or extra large sizes.
Some dogs do not like to be in the doorway, they prefer to be off to the side. The Rustic Lodge works for both kinds of dogs!
Made with ecoFlex™, New Age's proprietary composite material made from recycled and waste polymers and wood by products that last longer – typically 2 to 3 times that of a wood counterpart – are easier to keep clean since they do not absorb water borne materials, do not warp, crack or splinter like wood from contraction, expansion or changes in humidity.
With pre-assembly and adjustment at the factory, New Age houses assemble in minutes with no tools. They can be customized using exterior latex paint or oil based stain. Staining will require multiple applications.
Double wall construction with captured/dead air provides a barrier to the easy penetration of cold and damp through convection. Suspended floors prevent ground contact and provide for the introduction of cool air. The cool air can then circulate through the house to be exhausted through adjustable vents at the top of the side walls. All New Age houses feature Step Up & In design so the dog does not have to crawl into the houses. Particularly important for larger dogs as they age and bending becomes difficult.
