    About this item
    DESCRIPTION:

Incurin treats urinary incontinence in spayed female dogs. Short-acting estrogen counteracts estrogen loss in dogs with urinary issues. This can dramatically reduce or eliminate accidents and leakage related to urinary incontinence.

Key Benefits: Short-acting estrogen activates Incurin. It works to restore bladder sphincter muscle tone, when the condition is associated with a decrease in reproductive hormones.

Formulated For: For spayed female dogs.

    How is Medication Given?

  • INCURIN dosage rate is not body weight-based.
  • For dogs, the recommended initial dosage rate is 2 tablets (2 mg) administered by mouth one daily for 14 days or more.
  • Once the urinary incontinence condition is well-controlled, a maintenance dose should be established by slowly decreasing the daily dosage rate from 2 mg daily to 1 mg daily, then to 0.5 mg daily (based on the dog' response).
  • Wait 7 days between every adjustment in dosage rate. After the lowest possible daily dosage rate is established, decrease the dose further by administering every 2 or 3 days.
  • Do not administer more than 2 tablets (2 mg) daily. If your dog does not respond to a dosage rate of 2 tablets (2 mg) daily, your veterinarian should reassess the diagnosis.

What Results Can I Expect? Incurin is Useful in restoring urinary continence in spayed and senior dogs An excellent alternative to Phenylpropanolamine, like Proin. Convenient and easy to administer on a daily basis. Safe and effective.
