Possible Side Effects: Potential side effects include: Reduced appetite (observed in approximately 13% of dogs); Vomiting (observed in approximately 10% of dogs). Typically, reducing the dose can mitigate these side effects.
Precautions Certain estrogens have caused bone marrow changes or an increased risk of mammary tumors. However, target animal safety studies and post-market pharmacovigilance data have shown that dogs taking estriol actually showed a lower risk for developing these conditions. Only for use in animals.
