Mr.Nibbles was my first fish my 10 gallon tank. I loved him but he would hide at the corner of the tank and would never come out when I was there, but I know he comes out because at night when I give him food, it's gone in the morning. Plus he was so sensitive to the water that when there was the littlest bit of nomonea or what ever in the water he died! Sad but I just stuck with the harshest fish I know after that. Which is comet goldfish. But if your thinking about getting one. I say go for it! They are so pretty and cool!

I got my red an white guy a year and a half ago. He was about an inch long nose to tail and now he's 7 1/2 inches! Keep your tank clean, I have 2 aqua clear filters for a 50gal they are in a 38gal tank. With 3 fancy goldfish. I do a water change every so often and feed them often! All three fish swim up to the glass while I'm looking at them. I think they know me. :) good luck!

Good fish to own, easy to take care of. Eats a lot. Consider the size of the tank when you buy this guy, he grows fast. The larger they get the more they eat the more waste they produce the more frequent cleanings you do.
