Rated 5 out of 5 by merksy65 fun to watch
what a great starter fish, had them for 3 days now, i bought 5 to get my 55 gallon tank populated, talking with the sales assistant helped me decide on these as my first of many species, watching them explore the plants and crevices, finding and investigating the hollow stump. one has become a bit of a loner but seems happy to do it's own thing, joining in with the others now and again, another is looking for challengers such as navigating the submerged water pump that creates the current, gets a run up on the flow, does a 360 just as he hits the stream and barrels through like a bull at a gate, the other three are happy to cruise the tank together stopping to check on a rock, a plant or the retaining wall, it's all good to them, they all seem to have their own characteristics which makes them fun to watch.
I added 6 other fish yesterday and will review them a little later.

These fish are so pretty and fun! Their colors are so pretty and vary in the light. I have 2 males and 3 females (buy them in groups). They're low maintenance but gorgeous fish! Good for beginners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MEALWORM Green Lantern Platy Fish
I recently purchased 3 green lantern platy fish and absolutely love them! I was a interested by the size of the platy at first but they aren't too much bigger than the average platy. They are roughly 2 inches or a little smaller and are very bright and vivid with their beautiful markings and patterns. They definitely brighten up any aquarium and are always front and center and showing off! They are always happy to be fed and to be around my other platies. They get along with all my other fish which include 3 green lantern, 3 red wag, 3 cory cats, 2 ghost shrimp, 2 mystery snails & I am hoping to be able to buy more platy fish! Definitely recommend!
