My Baby! :)
A year ago I adopted my wonderful cinnamon green cheek conure. She is such a wonderful addition to our family! She is so intelligent and makes me laugh all the time. I have even trained her to do somersaults, pull a miniature wagon, roll on her back for "tummy tickles", say hi, say "Sabrina,"and many other things. She, like almost everyone else, even likes the song "Let it go" from Frozen. She bobs her head up and down and in the parts of the song when it gets loud she get's loud to. Her favorite food is diced carrot, so every morning she greets me by pounding on her veggie bowl with her beak. She also is learning how to count. If I tap her cage once, she taps it once. If I tap it twice, she taps it twice, and so on. She is a lot of work though, I have to change her newspaper every other day, give her fresh food and water (sometimes almost few hours because she likes to make "soup" by submerging her food), she likes to take baths in the morning, I hold her for at least an hour a day, her perches have to be cleaned once a week, and lot's more. I listed this all out, because if you are thinking of buying a bird I want you to realize how much work it is. It is very rewarding, but you want to make sure you have enough time to spend with your bird. Your new feathered friends can also turn into a life-long com anion, mine will live to be about 20-30 years, so you also want to consider this. I also have an air filter by her cage to eliminate dander, stray feathers, and other debris. If you have considered everything and are positive you want to have a bird, then I wish you all the best luck on your new adventure. :)

My baby bird is very quiet and not noisy at all!! Sun Conure and other conures are noisy and can be loud. But Green cheek conure is usually quiet. The only thing is she can't talk as many as Sun conure, but is playful and very hyper active. I have to keep her "entertained" by playing hide and seek often.
Oh she loves to take a bath, and demands taking bath almost every other day. Once fully fed, she likes to cuddle with me and has a little nap...If you are bored and have plenty of free time, this is the bird for you.
I also have one African Grey that is not so easily trained as the conure. BUt then again, every bird is different. Enjoy !1
