Gift Cards

The www.petsmart.com Gift Card can be ordered online for use in retail stores or online. It can be sent to anyone with a valid shipping address.

Buying a Gift Card:

To make your purchase, simply:

• Go to our Go to our Gift Cards/e-Gift Certificates page.
• Click "Gift Card."
• Fill out the order form and make your purchase.

After you purchase a Gift Card:

• Depending on the shipping method you choose, the actual Gift Card will be delivered in 1-10 business days.
• A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.

Reduced Expedited Shipping Rates on Gift Cards

Gift cards always ship for $.99* Ground, but can take several days to reach the recipient. For faster delivery, we're offering reduced expedited shipping rates on gift cards. No matter the gift card amount or quantity, the expedited shipping rates on gift cards are:

• Ground: $.99*
• Second Day: $5.99*
• Overnight: $8.99*

*Shipping rates valid when purchasing a gift card only at PetSmart.com. All other items ordered will be shipped in accordance with our online shipping policy.

Redeeming a Gift Card online:

• Shop online at www.petsmart.com and select products you wish to purchase.
• When you're ready to checkout, click "Shopping Cart."
• Proceed through the checkout.
• Enter your Gift Card number and unique PIN (codes are case sensitive) from the card on either the Payment page or the Review Your Order page and click "Apply."
• If you already have a Gift Card that does not have a PIN, it cannot be redeemed online and can only be redeemed at traditional PetSmart retail stores. In order to use your Gift Card online, your remaining balance can be transferred to a new Gift Card at your local PetSmart retail store.
• When making a purchase online at www.petsmart.com, you may redeem up to three Gift Cards per order.

Redeeming a Gift Card at a retail store:

At the register, present the Gift Card as you would any other form of payment. The amount you spend will be deducted from your Gift Card balance.

Gift Card Balance

Checking the balance of your Gift Card is easy. You can check the balance remaining on your Gift Card at any PetSmart retail store, online, or by calling a Customer Care Representative at 1-800-820-6189. When you call, be sure to have your Gift Card number and PIN in front of you.

Rules and Regulations for Gift Cards:

• You cannot use an Online Gift Certificate or Gift Card to purchase another e-Gift Certificate or Gift Card.
• If the amount of your Gift Card does NOT cover the total purchase amount, you will need to pay for the remainder of the purchase with a valid form of payment.
• If the amount of your Gift Card is MORE than the total order amount, the balance amount will be stored on your Gift Card account for future use.
• Gift Cards are non-transferable, non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
• We cannot replace lost or stolen Gift Cards.
• When making a purchase online at www.petsmart.com, you may redeem up to three Gift Cards per order.
• If you have any additional questions, please contact our Customer Care Department.
• No sales tax is charged when buying Gift Cards; however, purchases paid for with Gift Cards will be charged applicable sales tax if shipped to addresses in the states indicated here.
