Rated 3 out of 5 by FWDelta The bed is roomy, soft and warm. Cat sometimes uses it, but still likes the floor vent. I am concerned about how I will clean it if there is a problem, because even though the description says removable cover and easy wash and care, everything seems very "attached." Pillow is not separate, it's part and parcel of the bed. Cover also does not seem to remove even though there is a zipper. I am putting a bath towel in it to keep it clean. No detailed instructions came with the bed, just a sticker. Kind of expensive if I won't be able to clean it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RppN No sooner did I put the Heated Bed by the cat's old bed, when she within minutes climbed in. I don't think she'll come out until Spring.

There is a kitty that showed up on the doorstep about 1 1/2 years ago. Because I already have 5 indoor babies, I was unable to bring him inside. So I made an outdoor home for him in a large dog kennel on top of a table on my covered patio. I feed him, make sure he's up-to-date on his shots, and take him to the vet to care for his wounds when he's had a rough night out with the boys...LOL. His kennel is wrapped with tarps and blankets to keep the wind out. Every night for 1 1/2 years he gets in it in the evening and I close the door and he's left out in the morning. When winter came I ordered this bed for him and he loves it. It's the perfect temp for him. The past week the nights have hit the 20's degree mark so I put a baby blanket over the top of him. The kennel is up against my bedroom window so I can peek in on him...he's always snuggled in his warm bed. This bed is for indoor use only...but no moisture gets in his kennel or the plug...so it is working GREAT! I'm definitely getting another and I recommend it. OH...when I received it, I tested it out in the house...my indoor cats LOVED it...I had a heck of a time getting them out of it. Very much worth the money! I ordered the large so if he got too warm he could move off the heated area.

Our cats are in this bed alot. Two of the girls actually sleep together in the bed.
