I purchased this food and can't get my hamster to eat it. Not sure what brand to go with next or which one to try. Has no problem eating the fruit and veggie treats inside. Would love some suggestions on food for her...The salesperson tolde to get the one they were feending them. I should have listened. I was thinking well she will adjusting be okay with the new food

This food is very attractive for hamsters and gerbils... Mostly because it's filled with treats. While yes, treats should be offered to small animals as well, they should only be given occasionally, so the pet won't get diabetes, diarrhea, obesity... I used the treats as rewards for training, but I find it more convenient to buy my own treats separately. However, this is a good option if you have the patience, so because of that I'm giving it 3 stars.

I've always gotten ecotrition small animal foods for hamsters and have never had a problem with them eating it. I used to find the bowl empty every single day after I filled it that morning. :')

My robo hamster, Brutus, absolutely loves this. I was using another food and then realized that it was not that healthy. I soon switched to this food and its healthier, cheaper, and better.
