I have used other name brand cat litters, but recently I decided to try this brand out. It's a little more expensive than the others, but i decided to give it a go. I bought the " Extreme" non-clumping type. Well, I must say the urine odor is non-existent. I always change/wash out my cat's litter box daily as i live in a very small apt. and the cat litter box smell is evident no matter what i seem to do. After trying this for a week I don't need to change it daily but every other day. Yes, my cat uses the litter box a couple times a day and it needs to be changed more often due to it. Still the urine odor is not noticeable even when changing the litter box. For my Maine Coon cat this is the best.

I have tried multiple litters, and I keep coming back to this one. It is the only one that works and keeps odors way down - even with multiple cats!

i have been using fresh step clay cat litter since maggi was a kitten. she is now 17 years old. we have tried other brands but maggi prefers fresh step.
