Rated 5 out of 5 by wkrasl Perfect if you skip the door
All the negative reviews are because of the useless door. But if you just toss the door and charcoal filter, and just fill it with the right litter to the right depth, this litter box is perfect. It has a hood that keeps litter from being kicked out to sides or back, and the little bit of litter that gets tracked out the front when the cat leaves is insignificant, easily swept into a dust pan at the end of the scooping chore. If you take my advice to ignore the door and charcoal filter, choose the right litter. I like Arm & Hammer Unscented Multi-cat litter for a totally odorless litter box, keeping it about 4 inches deep. Clumps just form balls that never touch bottom, so you never have to dig into wet clumps on the bottom and your scooper never gets clogged. It stays that way if you add more fresh litter every 3-4 days to replace the clumps, still keeping about 4 inches deep.

Rated 1 out of 5 by IceElf The problem is the door
This would be an okay product EXCEPT for the swinging door which is necessary for odor containment. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned when we first put it together the door didn't swing freely. So my boyfriend modified it somehow and it worked for a while. However, one of the little nubs that holds the door in place broke off, therefore the door didn't work, therefore the cat was stuck inside the box, therefore she tore out of the box and dislodged the whole cover, therefore somehow ended up peeing all over the floor and need I say it, it was a big mess. If there were a replacement door available I'd be reviewing this product more favorably but alas there is not. So the money we paid 4-5 months ago is gone and this thing is going to end up in the landfill and now we've got to shell out another $?? for another one. I am not a happy consumer :-(

New cat owner, bought this thinking it would be cool for keeping litter from being all over the room, keep odors contained better, etc., Set it up, door wouldn't swing freely. This was for a 4 mos old kitten okay? Wound up removing the door part, so at least kitty has his privacy somewhat and he likes to run across the room and use the door like a slide so wahoo, dbl bonus door becomes a toy! *rolling eyes* Looking now for some kind of box liners and I imagine there aren't any for that shape...wish I would have read reviews before purchasing. Should cost $5 not what they're getting for it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DogandCatOwnerBR We bought this litter box hoping it would replace one that we had a long time. The design is terrible, the door hung up on top so I fixed that. Most recently the cat used it and the whole top came off and she could not use it, ended up pooping in our bean bag chair. We are going to toss this one out - I wished we could get our money back for this product - we bought it less than a month ago.
