The steps are the correct size for my bed. 30 in. They would be a 5 rating if they didn't slant. My pets, poms, medium size weighting 21 lbs. are afraid of them because they slant outwards. I don't know what the purpose of this is for. I am trying to get them to climb them by giving them treats, so far it hasn't worked.

This is the only step we could find that met our need to be 30" high. Our dog is used to a step that is a flat surface and this step has a tilt to it. He seems to be a little afraid of it. We need to stand behind him to gently nudge him up the steps. Maybe in time he'll get used to the difference.

I am a hard consumer to please. I like and expect to get what is advertised. Most of the time their are acceptable flaws. However; not in this case. It is an outstanding product. I wish they sold these at the store. It is tall and that is what we mainly was concerned about and many steps. Very sturdy. Good job!
