The small size is perfect height to keep an American Cocker Spaniel's medium cut ears from hitting the floor and getting inside the bowl while eating. The 10.1 ounce stainless bowl holds just the right amount of kibble for one feeding. Removing the stainless bowl creates a larger bowl size. I don't use it as I prefer my pets eat out of the stainless bowl to avoid allergies from plastics. This product hit all the marks. AAA+

This item was only available online so I was not able to see it in person. It was described as for a "Large Dog" but the bowl was very small and not able to accommodate a full meal for the dog. Additionally, it was not very high to protect the dog from bloat. So, since I am not able to return it to a store because they are not sold in the stores, rather than pay postage to send it back, I will give it to a friend with a small dog. Very dissappointed!!!

My wife and I have been looking for a single large bowl for our 50lb Austalian Shepard pup's food since he shares the water bowl with our other Aussie. So we bought the "large" size and it was only about 6 inches off the ground.
I guess "large is a realative term....
Great quality bowl though.
