I have a wonderful cat who has recently gone senile and hard of hearing. Instead of her silent meows or gentle noises, she now wails as a tornado siren. This occurs around the clock, but especially at night when she's hungry and I haven't meted out several small portions of various flavors of canned cat food every few hours. (All humane behavioral modification techniques have failed.)
I found this product in my local Petsmart store for $39.99. So far, I've had 2 nights in a row without sirens.
I like this product so much I have named it, like some people name their cars. Its name is Nyquil.
Serious tip: If you're using it for wet food, and your little darling insists upon totally soft food, try sprinkling a little water over the top of the food. Otherwise it will get the tiniest amount of crust where exposed to the air, as you'd expect.

It's cheap looking and doesn't serve it's purpose. My cats figured out how to get it open the first day.

This purchase was to replace an identical feeder that I had for 12 years or more. I travel a lot, so being able to feed moist food twice a day is a help - even for my pet sitter.
