I bought this pack for my 35# Lab/Pitbull mix because she's impossible to tire out. She loves the pack and carries it with a water bottle in each side when we walk around town, to use up her extra energy. We also use it on hikes so she can carry a collapsible water bowl and extra leashes etc. and it works so well! You do need to keep the pockets pretty well balanced to keep it from tipping, but it's a great pack, well made, and is very easy to adjust and fit to the dog. I'm buying another one for our Pitbull this summer!

Great Product, fits my Australian Shepherd perfectly (I ordered a Large). This will be great for hikes. I didn't give it 5 stars because I don't think it's worth $40+ with shipping...kinda expensive to me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Morcar7b Coming apart after 1 hour! Not a great fit.
I was very excited to buy this for our 1 year old Lab. She wasn't so sure about it at first, but got used to it in very short order. We used it for about 5 minutes in the house on the first night, then took it out for about a 1 hour easy walk today with our very young kids (EASY WALK!). I loaded one 8-oz water bottle, a granola bar, and a sandwich bag of trail mix in one side, and a three sandwich bags of trail mix in the other side to balance (LIGHT WEIGHT LOAD!). When we were in the car on the way home after our 1 hour walk, I noticed one of the pockets has come unstitched alongside the zipper and the fabric is badly fraying. This is not worth my time trying to fix. I'm an experienced seamstress. Trust me when I say this pack is not worth my time trying to fix.
Also when we first opened the package, I found one of the elastic bands that is supposed to hold the excess strap was completely unstitched and lying loose. It fell on the floor. I figured I would stitch that back on myself, but now I realize this is a poorly constructed item.
I purchased the large size for our dog according to her girth measurement, but it seems very long across her back, and shifts around a lot, and seems like it's going to slip off her rear end. She doesn't seem to mind, but I did. I would have liked to see the load held closer to her strong and sturdy shoulders than across the length of her back.
I will be sending it back and not repurchasing this one.
