The ramp was just what my 13 year dachshund needed. The ramp was a little too steep for the bed I put it on so I placed a square pillow under the ramp. He was then able to get up the ramp but the surface was too slick for him. I placed a bath rug with rubber backing on the ramp and he made it up with little effort. These "tweaks" worked great. He can now get up and down with ease and I don't have to worry about him injuring his back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by spacey I am very happy with it my puppy is getting stronger and her little legs r getting better to I would suggest getting one to help your animal to get up on the coach r bed instead of jumping and have to get surgery

Rated 5 out of 5 by tweety47 I have 3 dachshunds and 2 of them have back issues. So they are not able to go up or down steps or jump. So I have to pick them up and put them down on the couch, bed, etc. But I just had neck surgery myself and I am limited on what I can do, so I ordered this ramp and was very pleased at how light it is and it took them not even a day to get used to it. Now they can get up on the bed or couch on their own and I don't have to pick them up and it is extremely easy to carry from one room to another.
