It's great for keeping your dog confined during an outdoor event or party, but please put it some where out of the direct sun or other environmental elements. The dog can feel like he's part of the party but w/o accidentally causing any mishaps. I would never leave my dog in it 24/7 as there isn't much room to exercise but for intermittent use, it's great. But during a party, remember to keep him in mind. Dogs crave attention. I am a huge animal advocate as well as lover, so I believe that dogs, cats should never be left outside all of the time. I believe that domesticated pets should be kept indoors as part of the family. Otherwise, why have a dog or cat? But this is a great product.
