Rated 4 out of 5 by Skepticat As soon as it was assembled my cats enjoyed it. One year later, and they still love it. The dangling mice didn't last long, but they climb, scratch and sleep in it everyday. You can tell when something makes your pet happy and this was it. Note: the soft material is not carpet and a little difficult to vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Inuit Wonderful cat tree - very soft fabric and incredibly sturdy. Super easy to put together. If your cat loves to climb I would definitely recommend this cat tree. My cat won't sleep anywhere else now.

My 4 cats LOVE this cat tree. It was very easy to assemble, looks great and best of all the cats adore it! As the other reviewers said the toys that come with it are for "display" only, but still a great product!

As soon as I took everything out of the box, each of my four cats found a piece to play with: round cave, rectangular cave, two nests, round tunnel. As I needed a piece to add to the tower, I had to dump a cat out of it and he/she promptly found another piece to occupy their time until the thing was vertical.
Even though I'm still recovering from surgery on both legs (and I'm 62), I was able to put this together by myself! It took me a couple hours, but I just had to be patient. The directions were terrible; that's one of the reasons for the four-, rather than five-, star rating. I found the picture of the post online and enlarged it, printed it, and was able to put all the pieces together the way they were supposed to.
The second reason for the lack of the last star was that the ladder would not attach to the first floor, and the ramp would not attach to the third floor. It was these two pieces that I was hoping would help my arthritic, 17-yr-old golden tabby to get up on a perch. As soon as I find a man with a drill, I'm going to do what I can to get the ladder and ramp on there!
I live in a very small apartment and have two towers in the LR and one in the BR. The views are great from both sets of windows, so I had to make sure the cats would make full use of this tool/toy. They are!
