I have had several of these bowls for nearly 2 years now and they still look great. I wash them in the dishwasher and the coating still looks like brand new after and there is no rust. I don't leave the bowls outside to avoid the algae that tends to grow in all of my outside bowls but the stand stays outside and has also held up nicely!!
I saw the other reviewer say that the enamel wore off after just 2 weeks and I have to say they must have had a defective one unless the quality has gone down since I bought mine.
The only issues that I have is that I wish they sold them in my local Petsmart store since they seem to have an exclusive deal with the company and it would be nice to be able to see them in person to compare the height and size of bowls before a purchase. I bought the large size and would not recommend a smaller size if your dog is taller than a beagle and there should be a bit taller option for a truly large dog.

Use as a water stand, changed the bowl to a large glass bowl (balanced in one of the circles). Looks stylish & keeps the ground dry.

We just received the pet bowl and stand. It is great. I have been looking for a single bowl and stand for quite some time. This is the first one that meets our requirements. This is actually being used as a community water bowl. It takes up very little room and is stable. It is also nice looking instead of ugly plasic.

The enamel started coming off with less than 2 weeks of use and we only washed it by hand. Returned it to a Petsmart store. Would not recommend.
