Instructions:
Comes assembled for floating use. For use as a submersible de-icer, begin by taking the de-icer out of the box and locating the 3 buttons on the support legs that are holding the floater ring. Press each button one at a time to release the floater ring. After removing the floater ring you are ready to place the de-icer in your desired area in the pond. Make sure to plug the cord into a GFCI outlet and the de-icer will become active once the temperature falls to freezing.
